The 2018 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 is the largest and the most luxurious UTV in the lineup. While the standard Pioneer 1000 model can take two passengers and has a bed for cargo, upper trim offers rear seats. With them, capacity raises to 5 people. Besides that change, the utility terrain vehicle shares all important parts with its sibling. That means the same engine, suspension, brakes, and chassis. However, the 1000-5 version can get more upgrades, hard body parts that would bring better protection when weather conditions are not so great.

The heart of the engine room is a 999 cc liquid-cooled engine. A twin-cylinder Unicam unit is coming with programmed fuel injection PGM-FI system and automatic Dual Clutch Transmission. A CVT is a 6-pace gearbox. There are also 4 different modes of riding 2018 Honda Pioneer 1000-5. Besides 2WD and 4-wheel drive, riders can set Turf and Differential lock mode. Furthermore, more options come with paddle shifters. It will be again the choice of a driver if Pioneer 1000-5 UTV will run on standard, sport, or manual mode. The 2018 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 is available in three trim levels. Besides base unit, Honda offers Deluxe version as a higher trim. Besides the 27-inch radial tires, it comes with 14-inch wheels. QuickFlip seats are standard on both models. Differences with base unit are in bedside panels and LED lamps. Also, doors will match the color of the body. Honda’s Phantom Camo color scheme is available in the Deluxe version. Top of the line model is Limited Edition. This vehicle will get special drive system with intelligent 4WD. There are also assists for hill starts and aluminum skid plates.
