2017 Acura NSX GT

Super car segment is going to be exciting in next few years because companies are fighting for top spots in selling charts. We thought that last Acura NSX model will take that place for some while, but respond from Ford was quick and its GT car took the spotlight. Not for too long, anyway. Respond from Honda’s branch is coming with 2017 Acura NSX GT, which is going to move entire industry, including main rivals Nissan GT-R R36 and 2016 Porsche 911 RS.

2017 Acura NSX GT drivetrain

Under the hood of the 2017 Acura NSX GT will be twin-turbocharged 3.5-l V6 engine with monster output of 575 hp and 620 lb-ft of torque. Base engine can produce less power, but additions such as electric motor between drivetrain and gearbox, and two motors on front axle boosts overall numbers on the new NSX GT. Engine is using direct injection and all-wheel drive system for best performance. If engineers add some other features, this vehicle could do even more than 600 hp.

There are many plans about future of the 2017 Acura NSX GT. It is using old engine, and that is the first target for replacing. It still works fine for many vehicles, but company thinks it must go on, and develop new drivetrains. New drivetrainscould give better performance by taking less fuel. Adding electric motors to new NSX GT are one of the possible solutions. For further models, even more batteries could be placed all around the vehicle to provide better energy flow. Other changes could be made on turbocharging system, but there are no details about jobs which are to be done there.

2017 Acura NSX GT design

One of the most interesting change in visual appearance could be the color of the 2017 Acura NSX GT. We believe that designers will go with white. Fans believe car should be revisited on front, especially splitter. Wheels will be sportier. Inside the cabin there are no big changes. Probably entire infotainment system will be kept, but upgraded for upcoming NSX. Seats could be switched with sportier and slimmer ones.
