2020 Honda CRF250L Design

When it comes to base design characteristics, this is a typical off-road bike. The first thing you can notice is that it comes with a typical enduro/off-road styling, which can be emphasized if you choose a Rally trim. This version comes with various enhancements, with things like larger fuel tank, Dakar-inspired bodywork, handguards, windscreen, skid plate etc. Moreover, this version comes with an upgraded suspension, with even longer travel

At the same time, the 2020 Honda CRF250L is also very practical. As we already mentioned, you may count on a passenger-ready seat, so both you and passenger can enjoy the ride. Furthermore, there is a nice digital cluster, which makes the ride more convenient. The cluster is integrated with the headlight visor and it shows pretty much everything you need from a bike like this, including things like speedometer, clock, twin trip meter, fuel gauge etc. Finally, you can also pay an extra and get a version with ABS, for more convenient braking.

Chassis and Suspension

With 57 inches in wheelbase, this model balances comfort and maneuverability. Still, a steel frame is a clear indicator that we are talking about a genuine off-roader, which is capable of dealing with pretty much any terrain. Also, we like the fact that the 2020 Honda CRF250L comes with large-diameter 21/18 inch wheels, which in practice means that you can choose a variety of tire types, whether you’re up to some challenging off-road adventures or smooth on-road ride.

When it comes to the suspension setup, you may count on a 43mm inverted fork; 9.8 inches of travel. At the rear end, you may count on a single-shock Pro-Link rear suspension, which is beneficial no just in terms of comfort, but in terms of traction and handling as well. Of course, disc brakes are on both wheels and the bike comes with ABS, as well already mentioned. A nice thing to know is that you can switch off ABS on the rear wheel when you plan to go off the road. The ground clearance goes around 10 inches.

2020 Honda CRF250L Engine

When it comes to the engine, you may count on a well-known, super-reliable 250cc single-cylinder four-stroke unit, which offers fantastic reliability and cheap maintenance. Moreover, it comes with programmed fuel injection, which ensures a great balance between power and efficiency. One of the biggest benefits of a single-cylinder engine refers to power, but this engine also comes with a counterbalancer, so it also delivers the level of smoothness that is typical for multi-cylinder units. The engine comes in pair with a six-speed transmission.

Pricing and Warranty

When it comes to the price, the base model starts at 5.200 dollars, while the ABS would cost you an extra $300. The upgraded Rally trim starts at 5.950 dollars and, once again, ABS costs extra $300. You may count on a one-year unlimited-mileage warranty.
