When it comes to the powertrain department, the 2020 Honda CRF150R is very capable, but also pretty simple at the same time. Of course, you may count on Honda’s excellent 149cc single-cylinder unit, which comes with typical technical solutions, such as unicam design, solid-state ignition, TPS induction etc. As we are talking about a motorcycle that is designed to be a capable off-road, a carburetor seems like a logical solution. Of course, a big part of these excellent performances belongs to a well-designed 5-speed close-ration transmission.

Chassis and Suspension Design

The chassis design also plays a significant role in the 2020 Honda CRF150R’s performances. Of course, we are talking about a solid steel chassis, which features large diameter tubes, which provide excellent rigidity. Such a layout ensures excellent performance both on track and on the straight line.

When it comes to the suspension setup, you can find a 37mm fully adjustable leading-axle inverted Showa cartridge fork, which provides 10.8 inches of travel. On the other end, this bike comes equipped with excellent Pro-Link fully adjustable Showa single shock, which provides  10.7 inches of travel. Add to this 11.9 inches of ground clearance and you get impressive off-road performances.

When it comes to brakes, you may count on hydraulic discs on both wheels.
