The best thing about this bike is that you get all these amazing things at a quite affordable price.

What’s new for 2020?

The 2020 Honda CB300R came with a couple of interesting novelties and changes, compared to the previous year model. First of all, there are some styling changes, as the new model comes with a new color of the fuel tank, called Matte Pearl Blue. Another novelty that should be mentioned is that all models now come standard with the anti-lock brake system. You won’t be able to get a model without ABS anymore.

2020 Honda CB300R Specs

When it comes to 2020 Honda CB300R specs, we should start with the most important part of every bike, the engine. There is a well-known 286cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, which delivers plenty of power for a convenient ride. It comes in pair with a manual six-speed transmission, which works great as well. Also, we should mention the excellent exhaust design, which features a dual-chamber design, which ensures a linear throttle response in the whole rev range. Another thing we like about this exhaust is that it is designed to reduce air resistance as well, so you may count on smooth acceleration in all conditions.

At the front, you will find a beautiful telescopic fork, which features more than five inches of travel. On the other end, there is a ProLink single shock which also provides a decent amount of travel, which makes this suspension setup well-balanced. This is a genuine street bike that perfectly combines comfort and performances. As we already mentioned, all models come standard with ABS.

In terms of size, you may count on the same 53.3 inches in wheelbase which makes this bike highly maneuverable in urban conditions. Also, the riding position is at 31.5 inches, which seems suitable for a wide range of heights.

The fuel tank has a capacity of 2.7 gallons.

Besides the smooth and nimble ride, this motorcycle is also a great-looking machine. It features a design that Honda calls Neo-Sports Café, which combines design elements of a street racer, sports, and naked bike. Of course, it takes a lot of inspiration from higher-grade models like CB1000R. As well already mentioned, the new model comes in a new color, called Matte Pearl Blue. Of course, this color refers to the fuel tank. The rest of the bike is black. The engine, exhaust and the rest of the hardware have been blacked, while there is also a lot of black plastics around the bike.

Comfort and Instruments

Another thing we really like about this bike is the riding position. The 2020 Honda CB300R is a sports bike, so it’s no wonder it features a pretty engaging position. When you’re riding this bike, you are always ready for action and you may count on a handlebar that ensures perfect connection with the ground. We like the seating position, as well as the overall ergonomics. Moreover, we also like the instrument cluster which is completely digital and comes in a smartphone-like layout, which is something you can see in most other Honda models these days.
