Performance for new 2019 Honda Element is better and stronger than the last one discontinued in 2011. The engine makes the smooth and effective performance. The latest version of the drivetrain for this model is a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine. However, this motor has higher outputs, which is way beyond regular unit for ex-Element. The engine is capable to gain 150 hp and 160 pound-feet of torque. After the first test, rumors are speculating that Element can reach a max speed of 110 miles per hour.

2019 Honda Element mileage

This engine will improve fuel consumption. The available performance will gain 22 mpg in town driving and 28 mpg in highways. After more additional tests some of the numbers may change and some will remain the same, depending on trim level available. Driving the vehicle in the base state is smooth with no difficulties for stopping. Silent motor and fuel consumption will do their best for future buyers.

This vehicle could show up during next season with the completely new drive system. The same 4-banger could get a support from an electric motor to gain a better mileage. With it, the 2019 Honda Element will get extra miles per gallon, as well as few more horsepower. Hybrid drivetrain will make the crossover run across the city consuming less fuel than it will do outside the urban areas.

2019 Honda Element redesign

The new 2019 Honda Element is a compact car with many interesting details. According to dimensions, this model will be mid-size which is producing because of high demand for this model. The styling of this newly redesigned crossover will keep basic spec according to the old model, but with redesigned details in interior and infotainment area. The base body part is made of aluminum and steel for keeping the stamina on a high level. This vehicle will use two types of lights as LED and xenon, which is present in the overall concept. The interior is larger and comfortable. There are two rows of sliding seats, that can take more than seven passengers.

The new 2019 Honda Element will introduce few modern features. After eight years of pause, modernization is must for the SUV. And Honda will go hard. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto services are features we can find in the premium trim levels for many vehicles. The Element is not going to offer it as the standard equipment. Whatsoever, owners of the crossover won’t have to purchase limited trims to get it. Also, touch-screen display and the transparent dashboard will provide all info needed for the safe and pleasant ride.

2019 Honda Element release date and price

Honda won’t launch this vehicle anytime soon. In compact class, they already have HR-V, which performs great on the market. However, the refresh of the lineup is always good, and the Japanese carmaker is doing that by returning the old-school vehicle. We will see a debut of 2019 Honda Element next year and sales will start immediately. Well, we still don’t know if it comes to the US, but many other markets will see the SUV in their salons.

As about the price, we are not sure here either. Being a compact vehicle doesn’t allow 2019 Honda Element to be too expensive. So, experts estimate the price of around $25,000 for base trims.

OMG. I have a 2006 Element. I couldn’t part with it to buy another vehicle. Please, Please, bring it to the US. I will buy it when it returns. Hopefully it will come in the Orange color shown.

  3. David says:

I’ve been buying sequentially “newer” – read less milage 2007’s and 2008’s – five speed manual Elements. Love this vehicle, will be first in line if they release a 2019, especially if it is a five speed.

  4. Robert MacDonald says:

I’m in, my 2005 Element has 210K. Looking for a new one. I like that retractable top and the door handles on the rear doors, keep them as suicide doors please. Beef up the suspension just a little bit and its a winner. I’ll take the rally red you offered in 2005 & 2006 with the black rubberized fenders. Where do I send my deposit?

  5. Audrey says:

Best news ever!! I miss my old element like crazy. Hopefully they still have the manual transmission and some of the new technologies

  6. Valerie h. says:

My husband and I have been hoping the element would be back – by far our favorite vehicle ever. Is it possible to order in advance?!

  7. Donna Goodwin says:

OMG! I miss my old Element soooo much. I have dogs and bought a SUV and hate it! I definately will be looking to trade in my SUV as soon as they are in my area. Ditto with some of the other comments and here’s my wish list Honda; YES to the suicide doors, retractable top, new tech/back up cam, hybrid!, remote start, strong back seat AC for the pups, flip up seat on back seats like the Fit, beefed up suspension, stand out colors orange and sky blue, decent HP, 5 speed option (like the control). Yippy! I’m in I will definately purchase one!!! My dogs thank you!

  8. Angela says:

PLEASE BRING ELEMENT BACK TO USA. I’m in ’07 SC and I can’t find anything currently on the market that’s comparable. Im holding out hoping it will make a return. I agree what another owner wrote, improve the suspension a bit. Mines not 4 or AWD so I did slide down a snowy mountain this year. Just one of many adventures in this fun quirky looking cubie-car (my new Zealand friends call it this)

  9. Cheryl says:

Wow! I am so excited to know that Honda decided to redo the Element. I have 240,000 miles on my 2006 and it still runs great. I have looked at other Honda’s to possibly buy to replace my Element but I am in so much love with my car that I was thinking of renovating it. New paint, new driver’s seat, new front bumper etc., but now wo-is-me I can buy a new one in 2019 hopefully. Thank you, thank you for bring this baby back. Most of the Element owners I drive by wave. I would say we are some of the happiest drivers on the road. Can’t wait to see the new one. Thanks again.

  10. jo Rone says:

  11. Carol says:

YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! I sold my 2006 Element, and I regret it. There is no other vehicle on the market that has the features that the Element had/has. I can not wait to purchase another one. So, I hope that this is true, unlike the rumors that were sent a few years ago. It, by far is the best vehicle ever made. Its versatility and design is great.

  12. linda trader says:

please please please bring back the element. I read about this on a facebook group for element owners that has just under 7,000 members . Other cars don’t have that kind of fan base.

  13. Lorraine says:

I had a 2007 Element that saved my life in a head on collision. The other car was rubble and the interior of my car looked barely rumpled. The integrity of the passenger area was amazing. The other driver died and my Elli was totaled but I am still here to hope that Honda will bring back this exceptional automobile.

  14. Christy says:

I have been holding out for the return of the Element. My 2003 has 230,000+ miles and I can not bring myself to buy a different kind of car to replace it. I’ll be first in line!!! I might buy 2 just in case it is discontinued again.

  15. Laura says:

Jumping for joy at hearing this news! Hoping it will be in the USA next year. My ‘05 Element needs to be replaced soon— and I would much prefer the option of another Element.

  16. Lori says:

Is this really going to happen. Should i get my hopes up again!!!

  17. Ron Blessing says:

Please release this vehicle in the US soon. I made the mistake of trading my 2011 Element in for a Jeep Renegade and, although there are things I like about the Jeep, I think about my Element all the time. My wife misses it more than I do. If Honda doesn’t bring it back, I’m looking at the Toyota FT-4X as my next vehicle.

  18. Nancy Kent-Unold says:

OMG I love that car. I have called several times asking when they were bringing this vehicle back. Can’t wait best vehicle ever. Love love love

  19. Laura says:

We had a 2005 Honda Element and stupidly traded it in for the new HRV. We went back to the salesman at the Honda dealership that bought it and he won’t sell it back – he loves it! Please, please bring the Element back!

  20. jake says:

Have a 2010 AWD. Just sold the 2007 EX AWD in the yard. Really hope they re-introduce these. Make it so Honda.
